Amidst a large wave of displacement... attempts to separate the southern Gaza Strip from its center

While the occupation forces are pushing large numbers of their tanks into the east and center of Deir al-Balah, reaching al-Qarara, evidence indicates the occupation forces’ intention to separate the south of the Gaza Strip from its center. Medical sources reported yesterday that at least 25 citizens were killed as a result of the occupation forces’ shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip, thus raising the death toll to 40,265 and the number of injuries to 93,144 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression. Meanwhile, a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them. Medical sources said that paramedics transferred 3 martyrs from the Ezbet Abd Rabbo area east of Jabalia town, and a martyr from the Sultans area to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia camp, after the occupation forces targeted citizens in the two areas.
Health sources reported the death of a citizen as a result of Israeli artillery shelling targeting the Mufti area north of the Nuseirat camp, while a child was injured by occupation forces’ bullets in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
In the same context, the Civil Defense reported that several people were injured in a bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Shimaa area in Beit Lahia.
The northern Bani Suhaila roundabout, east of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip, witnessed artillery shelling that caused many injuries.
Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis reported the night before last that the bodies of three martyrs, including a child, had arrived as a result of an airstrike launched by the occupation forces on a gathering of citizens in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that a citizen was killed and others were injured when the occupation aircraft bombed a gathering of citizens east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
On the ground, the Al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of Hamas - announced yesterday that it had killed and wounded Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City and in the city of Rafah, while Israeli helicopters evacuated the wounded soldiers.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that the soldier was killed as a result of an explosive device explosion in battles in the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, noting that 12 soldiers were injured, including 4 in critical condition and 3 with moderate injuries, as a result of an explosive device explosion in the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

The Sderot municipality said that air defenses intercepted a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip towards the city.
