The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Monday, that the death toll from the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,139 killed, and 92,743 wounded since October 7, 2023.
It explained that the occupation forces committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, 40 dead and 134 wounded people arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours.
It pointed out that thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
In the latest developments: The occupation aircraft bombed Deir al-Balah, which led to the martyrdom of a citizen and the injury of another. They were transferred to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city.
The Israeli occupation army announced in a statement on Sunday evening that "the 98th Division has expanded the scope of its operations in Khan Yunis in the last day, and the forces have reached the entrances to the city of Deir al-Balah (for the first time since the beginning of the war)."
The Israeli air force launched a series of raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip, where Israeli aircraft bombed residential apartments in Jabalia camp, and the bombing also targeted homes in Deir al-Balah and homes in al-Nuseirat camp, which resulted in dozens of dead and wounded.
The Israeli artillery renewed its bombing of houses and shelling of residential areas, as artillery shelling targeted the southwestern areas of Gaza City this morning, the Zeitoun neighborhood, the Abasan al-Kabira area east of Khan Yunis, the town of al-Qarara, and the city of Hamad.
Amidst the shelling and airstrikes, thousands of families continue to be displaced in the Strip as the Israeli authorities issue new evacuation orders, while there is no safe place to go.
UNRWA explained that Israel reduced the "humanitarian zone" to only 11% of the Gaza Strip, which caused chaos and fear among the displaced.
