Israeli settlers attack agricultural lands in the Minya desert, east of Bethlehem

Today, Friday, settlers prevented the Al-Froukh and Al-Tarwa families from harvesting their crops in the Al-Minya desert, located between the towns of Kisan and Al-Rashaydeh, east of Bethlehem.

Agricultural engineer and resident of the area, Adnan Jabareen, said that the settlers of Ma'ale Amous proceeded to graze the barley and wheat crops planted on an area of 300 dunams, which constitute part of the 1,500 dunams owned by the families, and prevented them from harvesting them.

Jabareen confirmed that the pace of attacks on agricultural lands in the area has escalated since October 7, as settlers carry out their attacks under the protection of occupation soldiers, preventing farmers from reaching their lands and harvesting their crops.

He pointed out that this incident is part of a series of systematic attacks targeting Palestinian agricultural lands in the region, which exacerbates the suffering of farmers and threatens their livelihoods.
