Suffocation, arrests and raids during clashes in the West Bank
Today, Friday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.
Local sources said that an infantry force from the occupation army stormed Jabal al-Ras and toured several neighborhoods of the village.
The village is subjected to repeated attacks by settlers and the occupation army, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of citizens, and damage to homes, vehicles and citizens' property.
In Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of the city, which led to clashes with citizens.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the village and fired sound bombs and tear gas near Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque, after Friday prayers, which led to clashes with citizens, without any injuries being reported.
It is noteworthy that the village of Kafr Qaddum organizes a weekly peaceful march after Friday prayers against settlement and demanding the opening of the village street, which has been closed for more than 20 years in favor of expanding the "Kedumim" settlement, which was forcibly built on the village's lands.
In the city of Nablus, a number of citizens suffered from suffocation during clashes that erupted after the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Sebastia, northwest of the city, where two citizens were arrested.
The head of the Sebastia Council, Muhammad Azem, reported that the occupation forces stormed the archaeological site in the town, and fired live bullets, sound bombs, and toxic gas, which led to the outbreak of clashes with citizens, during which dozens suffered from suffocation due to inhaling the toxic gas, and were treated in the field.
He added that the occupation forces arrested two citizens from the town whose identities are not yet known.
