UNRWA: 205 aid workers killed in Gaza since October 7

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed today, Friday, that 205 humanitarian workers have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza since October 7.

The UN agency said in a statement that the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip have caused civilian casualties, forced displacement and destruction of infrastructure.

"The number of humanitarian workers killed by Israeli forces in Gaza has risen to 205 since October 7," she said.

She added that "9 out of 10 people in Gaza have been displaced, and some have been displaced more than once, even 10 times."

She explained that the health system in Gaza can barely provide some services because 90 hospitals and health centers have stopped working.

The agency indicated that there are 10 health centers and 100 mobile medical points affiliated with UNRWA providing services in Gaza.

With American support, Israel is waging a devastating war on Gaza, leaving more than 131,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing.

Tel Aviv continues this war, ignoring the UN Security Council's decision to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice's orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
