Israeli army: 19 soldiers injured, including 3 in Gaza, in one day
Israeli army data showed on Friday that 19 soldiers were injured in the past 24 hours, including 3 in the battles in the Gaza Strip.
According to data published by the army on its website, the total number of wounded since the beginning of the war on October 7 has reached 4,303 soldiers, up from 4,284 yesterday, Thursday.
According to the data, 3 soldiers were injured in the past hours in the ground battles in the sector that began on October 27, bringing the total to 2,199 wounded from 2,196 on Thursday.
The Israeli army did not specify in its data the locations of the other soldiers' injuries.
The army indicated that 27 soldiers are in serious condition, 176 are in moderate condition, and 5 are in minor condition, and are currently receiving treatment.
According to the data, 689 officers and soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war on October 7, including 329 in ground battles in the Gaza Strip.
With American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 131,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
In contempt of the international community, Tel Aviv continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
