Injuries and arrests during Israeli raids in the West Bank
A number of citizens were injured and arrested last night during a campaign of raids carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in several areas in the West Bank.
Two young men, one of whom was seriously injured, were injured by the occupation forces' bullets during clashes that erupted in the city of Qalqilya after storming it from the eastern entrance, amid gunfire and the throwing of tear gas bombs.
These forces closed the iron gate at the eastern entrance to the city, and obstructed the movement of vehicles.
Other forces arrested Ahmed Abdullah Razmak and his son Muhannad during a raid on the town of Habla, south of Qalqilya.
Meanwhile, a citizen was injured, after midnight, in an attack by settlers on the road between the city of Al-Bireh and the Jalazone camp, north of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the young woman, Tasneem Faraj, was injured in the head after being attacked with stones by settlers while passing near the "Beit El" settlement, on the road between the city of Al-Bireh and the Jalazone camp. She was transferred to the Istishari Hospital to receive treatment.
Another force arrested the freed prisoner and student at Birzeit University, Abdullah Najm al-Din, from the city of al-Bireh.
In the same context, the occupation forces stormed the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, and carried out raids, searches and arrests, while drones flew overhead.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town and toured several neighborhoods, especially the neighborhoods of: Al-Thaghra, Al-Sarj, Al-Bustan, Al-Hila, and Qalafa, and raided several homes, the owners of which were identified as: Abdul-Muati Hamidat, Fouad Azmi Ghneimat, and Arafat Mansour Shahada Abed.
Local sources reported the arrest of: Osama Youssef Abdel-Moati Hamidat, Arafat Mansour Shahada, and others whose identities could not be known.
It is noteworthy that the town of Surif has been subjected to continuous raids by the occupation forces for months, which have arrested a large number of the town’s residents.
Three citizens, including two children, were previously injured by live bullets during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Askar al-Jadeed camp, east of Nablus.
