Amid Iranian threats to respond to the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, US Central Command Commander Michael Kurilla arrived in Israel.

Korella was received by the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Herzi Halevi, who held a meeting with him in the presence of senior officers from both sides.

The two officials conducted a joint assessment of the situation on security and strategic issues.
