Jordan FM: Israel's cessation of aggression and violations of international law is the first step to de-escalation
Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi stressed that Israel's immediate cessation of its aggression on Gaza and its violations of international law represent the first step towards reducing the escalation that threatens regional and international security and peace.
This came during phone talks held by Safadi, on Monday, with the Foreign Ministers of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares, Norway, Espen Barth Eide, and Britain, David Lamy.
Safadi discussed with his counterparts the dangerous escalation witnessed in the region, and stressed the need to stop the Israeli government's aggression, and take practical steps and clear positions that prevent the Israeli Prime Minister and the extremist and racist ministers in his government from imposing their escalation agenda and war on the region.
Safadi warned of the danger of continued escalation in the entire region, stressing that the security of the region will remain threatened unless Israel is forced to stop its aggression against Gaza, its violation of the rights of the Palestinian people, and its flagrant violations of international law.
