Two killed and wounded in southern Lebanon, and Hezbollah bombs northern Israel
The Israeli occupation army announced the assassination of a Hezbollah leader in an air strike in southern Lebanon today, Saturday, and while the Lebanese authorities reported the killing of a boy and the wounding of others in another Israeli bombing, Hezbollah continued its bombing of scattered areas in northern Israel.
The occupation army said that its air force assassinated the Hezbollah leader in the southern front, Ali Nazih Abdul Ali, adding that he was involved in a series of operations and in planning other operations.
Before the Israeli announcement, Hezbollah mourned its two martyrs, who it said were killed in a missile attack from a drone that targeted a car in the town of Al-Bazourieh in the city of Tyre, south of Lebanon.
In a bombing that targeted other areas in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the death of a boy and the injury of 6 others as a result of an Israeli air strike.
The official Lebanese News Agency reported that an Israeli drone raided the center of the town of Deir Siryan in the Marjeyoun district.
Regarding the outcome of this raid, the Ministry of Health said in a statement that it led to "the martyrdom of a 17-year-old boy and the injury of 6 other civilians."
The occupation army said that its fighters launched raids on the towns of Aita al-Shaab, Tyre Harfa, Kfar Kela and Rub Thalatheen.
8 operations
In contrast, Hezbollah announced carrying out 8 operations against Israeli targets, and the party said that it bombed the settlement of Metula in response to Israel targeting civilians in southern Lebanon.
The party also announced bombing buildings in the settlements of Shlomi, Avivim and Metat, and targeted the sites of Hadab Yaron, Al-Asi, Al-Samaka and Ruwaysat Al-Alam.
A rocket was also fired towards the settlement of Metula in the Galilee Finger in northern Israel.
Since October 8, Hezbollah and Lebanese and Palestinian factions have been exchanging daily shelling with the Israeli occupation forces.
These factions are making the cessation of the bombing conditional on the Israeli army ending the war it has been waging with American support on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
The aggression left more than 130,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded - most of them children and women - and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens of children.
