Protesters against Netanyahu's government block a road near Tel Aviv
On Tuesday, demonstrators closed a highway in Tel Aviv to demand a prisoner exchange agreement and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators closed the Ayalon Road for some time, before the Israeli police cleared the street of demonstrators and reopened it to traffic.
In recent weeks, opponents of Netanyahu's government have escalated their activities demanding early elections and a prisoner exchange agreement.
The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 38,664 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of more than 89,097 others, in an infinite toll, as the toll is still incomplete.
