The Palestinian Prisoners' Club confirmed the increase in the number of arrests by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, to include those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
The Prisoner's Club said in a statement on Monday that the number of arrests has risen since October 7 to more than 9,670, while the occupation continues to carry out the crime of enforced disappearance against detainees in the Gaza Strip.
From yesterday evening until this morning, the occupation forces arrested at least 15 citizens from the West Bank, including a woman and former prisoners.
It is noteworthy that the arrest operations were distributed in the governorates of Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, Jenin, and Tulkarm, and the occupation forces continue to carry out attacks and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction operations in citizens’ homes.
During the arrest campaigns, the occupation forces continue to carry out widespread harassment, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to vandalizing and destroying citizens’ homes.
