Israeli forces prevent worshipers from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque and arrests a photojournalist

The Israeli occupation forces prevented dozens of worshipers from entering the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and arrested a photojournalist from its courtyards.

According to local sources, dozens of citizens performed the noon prayer near Lions Gate and in the streets of Old Jerusalem, after the occupation forces prevented them from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.

She added that the occupation forces arrested the photojournalist, Abdel Rahman Al-Alami, and beat the worshipers near the doors of the mosque.

The occupation forces had tightened their military measures in the Old City of Jerusalem and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prevented a number of Palestinians from the 1948 territories and dozens of children from entering Al-Aqsa.

The occupation forces continue to tighten their siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque since October 7, 2023, as they are stationed at all times at the gates of Al-Aqsa, erecting iron barriers, stopping arrivals and trying to obstruct their entry into the mosque many times.
