Hezbollah: We targeted 5 Israeli headquarters with more than 200 missiles
Hezbollah announced today (Thursday) that it had targeted Israeli military sites with “more than 200 missiles” as part of a “response” to the killing of one of its leaders in an Israeli raid on Wednesday in southern Lebanon.
The party said in a statement, “Today the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance bombed five Israeli military headquarters with more than 200 missiles of various types.”
The targeted locations are "the newly created 91st Division headquarters in the Ayelet Barracks, the 7th Armored Brigade headquarters in the Katsavia Barracks, the 7th Brigade's Armored Battalion headquarters in the Gamla Barracks, the 210th Division (Golan Division) headquarters in the Nafah base, and the division's artillery regiment headquarters." 210 in Yarden barracks.
The statement added that the bombing comes "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and as part of a response to the attack and assassination carried out by the enemy in the Al-Hosh area in the city of Tyre" in southern Lebanon.
Later, the party announced in a second statement that it had launched an air attack with a swarm of “swooping marches” on seven Israeli military sites.
According to the statement, the bombing included the new 91st Division headquarters in the Ayelet Barracks, the 7th Armored Brigade headquarters in the Katsavia Barracks, the Northern Region Command headquarters in the Dadu base, the Northern Region Mishar Intelligence Base, the 810th Hermon Brigade headquarters in the Maale Golani Barracks, and the main base. The permanent headquarters of the 146th Ilania Division, the headquarters of the Golani Brigade and the Egoz unit in the Shraga barracks.
Lebanese military sources indicated that "Lebanese army sites monitored the launching of about 25 marches and more than 150 surface-to-surface missiles from the Lebanese side to the Israeli side, and some of them were intercepted by Israeli Iron Dome missiles."
