Hezbollah announces the targeting of gatherings of soldiers in northern Israel
Hezbollah announced on Monday that it had targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers between the Al-Manara and Margaliot settlements, and in the vicinity of the Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills.
The party said in a statement that its members targeted "a gathering of enemy soldiers between the colonies of Al-Manara and Margaliot with appropriate weapons and hit it directly."
He pointed out in another statement that his members targeted "a deployment of Israeli occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with artillery shells."
As of 16:25 (UTG), there was no comment from the Israeli side regarding Hezbollah's recent statements.
Earlier Monday, the Lebanese News Agency reported that a Hezbollah civil defense member was injured, and a citizen died from wounds he sustained last week, as a result of an Israeli bombing in southern Lebanon.
It also stated that an Israeli drone “targeted the town of Taybeh,” without mentioning the nature of the target.
The agency noted that Israeli warplanes "raid the border towns of Aitaroun and Maroun al-Ras."
The pace of Israeli threats against Lebanon has recently escalated due to the growing intensity of confrontations between Hezbollah and the Israeli army.
Hezbollah links the cessation of its attacks on Israel to the latter ending its war on the Gaza Strip, which it began on October 7, 2023.
