The Israeli occupation army “accidentally” fired a shell at a settlement adjacent to Gaza
The Israeli occupation army announced, on Friday, that an artillery shell it fired “accidentally” landed inside one of the settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
The army said in a post on the X platform: “Earlier today, a tank fired a shell at a target in the Gaza Strip.”
He added: "As a result of an error whose source is being investigated, the shell deviated from its path and fell into Israeli territory near the border fence."
He pointed out that an Israeli car in the "Hof Ashkelon" settlement adjacent to the Gaza Strip was damaged by shell fragments.
He continued: "As part of the investigation into the incident, a report was received indicating that a vehicle was damaged in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council area as a result of shell fragments."
He added: "There were no human casualties, and the incident is being investigated."
