The Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority revealed, this Wednesday morning, the continuing poor living and detention conditions experienced by prisoners in Ofer Prison, which have been imposed on them since the seventh of last October as a systematic policy of escalation against all prisoners.

The Commission explained, according to its lawyer’s visit to the prison, that the quantities of food in the prison are still small, its quality is poor, and it is not enough for the prisoners.

Regarding clothing, the prisoners suffer from a severe shortage of summer clothes, and some prisoners have not changed their clothes for three months.

Among the inhumane practices adopted by the Prison Service administration against prisoners is reducing the duration of the shift, as the duration of the shift has become forty minutes for each two rooms instead of an hour.
