The Israeli army announces the recovery of three bodies of Israeli prisoners in Gaza
The Israeli army announced on Friday that it had recovered the bodies of three prisoners in Gaza.
The army indicated in a statement that two of them were Israeli prisoners, Hanan Yevlonka and Michael Nissenbaum, along with tourist Oren Hernandez.
He added that the bodies of the three prisoners were recovered in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the General Security Service (Shin Bet) and the Yahalom unit.
The Israeli army added that it is continuing its military and intelligence operations to recover all those it described as kidnapped.
Israel had previously announced the recovery of some of the bodies of its prisoners who were killed as a result of the bombing of Gaza or who were killed at the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which was launched by the resistance last October.
Tel Aviv estimates the number of its remaining prisoners in the Gaza Strip at about 130, but it is likely that a number of them were killed.
