Former Mossad deputy chief: We lost the Gaza war and our economy is collapsing
A member of the Israeli Knesset, Ram Ben Barak, said today, Saturday, that the war in Gaza is “useless,” and that Tel Aviv is “losing it” and “its economy is collapsing.”
This came in statements made by Ram Ben Barak, a representative from the opposition “There is a Future” party, to Israeli public radio.
Ben Barak previously served as Deputy Chief of the Israeli Intelligence Service (Mossad) from 2009 to 2011, and Chairman of the Knesset Security and Foreign Affairs Committee between 2021 and 2022.
Ben Barak said: “This is a war without a goal and we are losing it unequivocally.”
He added: "We are forced to return to fighting in the same areas, and lose more soldiers."
