The French Foreign Ministry also called on Israel to immediately reopen the Rafah crossing into Egypt, due to its importance in ensuring the access of humanitarian aid to the civilian population and allowing the most vulnerable people to leave the Gaza Strip.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli forces forced citizens to flee the city of Rafah twice, the first on the seventh of this month, and the second today, amid fears of a humanitarian catastrophe and imminent famine.
