Egyptian official: Positive progress in the truce negotiations in the Gaza Strip

A high-ranking Egyptian source confirmed to the Cairo News website on Thursday that there is positive progress in the truce negotiations in Gaza, amid intense Egyptian contacts with all parties.

Yesterday, Wednesday, a high-level Egyptian source confirmed that efforts to reach a truce agreement in Gaza are continuing amid a positive atmosphere, and there are Egyptian consultations with all concerned parties to resolve some controversial points between the two parties.

The Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to an unprecedented Israeli aggression on land, sea and air since October 7, has been living in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, amounting to famine, as the occupation authorities continue to prevent and obstruct the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Strip, especially to the northern regions, while no The aid arriving in the south of the Gaza Strip suffices the needs of citizens, especially in Rafah, which is the last refuge for the displaced.
