The American "Time" magazine said that global support for Israel has been declining continuously since October 7, 2023, in reference to the escalation of the situation in the Gaza Strip.

According to data reported by “Time” from the research company Morning Consult, 42 out of 43 countries witnessed a decline in the support previously provided to Israel.

This result was reached through an opinion poll conducted in 43 countries on 6 continents, during the period between October and December 2023, during which the company received thousands of written answers from the respondents.

As a result of the survey, many “positive” opinions about Israel turned into “negative” in China, South Africa, Brazil, and other Latin American countries.

Countries such as Japan, South Korea, and Britain also witnessed a decline in support for Israel, until “negative” opinion became dominant in these societies.

On the other hand, the United States of America alone emerged as a country that continues to support Israel despite its decline compared to before.

Speaking to TIME, Sonata Frisbie, vice president of political intelligence at Morning Consult, a research company, said that these data show “how difficult the path Israel is currently taking in the international community is.”
