Palestinians found dozens of bodies on Al-Rashid Street in Gaza City, while returning to their homes with the start of the temporary humanitarian truce between Israel and Hamas.

Eyewitnesses reported that while they were returning to inspect their homes in the western areas of Gaza City, they found the bodies of dozens of Palestinians who had been killed by the occupation army on “Al-Rashid” Street, west of the city.

Witnesses explained that the bodies were decomposed, indicating that they were killed several weeks ago during the exodus from Gaza City to the south of the Strip.

During the past weeks, the occupation army killed dozens of Palestinians as they fled to the south via “Al-Rashid” and “Salah al-Din” Streets, and left them in their places before their bodies were gradually transported via animal-drawn vehicles to the southern regions.

The Israeli army targeted displaced Palestinians and committed many massacres in the south, while promoting that the south was a “safe zone” in order to force the largest number of people from the north to leave.
