The war and the continuous Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip and areas populated by people and displaced persons resulted in the martyrdom of more than 14,128 martyrs, including more than 5,840 children and 3,920 women, while the number of missing persons rose to more than 6,800 missing persons, including more than 4,500 children and women, according to official data issued. It was reported that the potential deal between Israel and Hamas includes the release of 53 Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip, including 40 children and 13 women, in exchange for a 4-day truce including a ceasefire, Israel stopping air operations for 6 hours a day during the truce, and the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners, including children and women, in addition to increasing aid and bringing fuel into the Gaza Strip.


It is expected that Israel will increase the days of the truce to more than 6 days in the event of releasing a larger number of hostages, which will likely reach 70 hostages, including children and women. In return, Israel will also release more Palestinian prisoners from its prisons. In total, there may be 240 male and female prisoners.


This comes as raids continue, targeting hospitals, homes, and populated areas, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded among civilians and medical teams. Many areas in the Gaza Strip are also witnessing fierce clashes and battles between the occupation forces and resistance factions.


Today, Tuesday, the Israeli army announced the killing of an officer and a soldier in ground battles in Gaza, and on Monday, it announced the killing of two soldiers, both from the Paratroopers Brigade, in clashes in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as the killing of a third from the Givati Brigade, raising the number of dead Israeli soldiers. The number of officers has risen to 69 since the start of the ground incursion on October 27, while the army’s death toll has reached 390 soldiers and officers since October 7.
