The Hebrew Channel 13 revealed today, Sunday, that Israeli army has finished drafting a mechanism that allows the transfer of clearing to the Palestinian Authority and the transfer of funds to Gaza, subject to the approval of the Israeli political level.

The channel added that about two weeks ago, “Israel” agreed to transfer funds to the Palestinian Authority, with the exception of funds from Gaza, but the Palestinian Authority refused to receive the funds “on the basis that it is not ready to give up Gaza’s funds.”

The occupation authorities collect taxes on behalf of the Palestinian Authority for Palestinian imports of imported goods, and transfer funds to them monthly.

Israeli authorities claim that they are concerned about the funds reaching the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, and according to Israeli security officials, they can “guarantee that at least half of the funds, which were supposed to reach Gaza, will not reach Hamas members,” and the Shin Bet and the Israeli army directed that A message to the political level saying: “We are able to guarantee that this money will not reach the hands of Hamas members. These are very large sums.”

According to the channel, this mechanism must be approved by the political level, and if this happens, this means that Israeli authorities will allow the transfer of funds to Gaza during the war.

The new mechanism faces the obstacle of approval by the Israeli political level, and the extremist National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir claimed that this decision is “dangerous,” and added that this “foolishness means the continuation of the same concept that led us to the Black Saturday disaster, and we will strongly oppose this foolish proposal, and I hope that it will not The rest of the ministers and the Prime Minister also surrender to this dangerous proposal.”
