Colonizers burn 4 vehicles and parts of a house in Attara, north of Ramallah.

On the dawn of Friday, the town of Attara, northwest of Ramallah, witnessed a new attack by settlers, who set fire to four vehicles and parts of a house. This attack comes as part of a series of violations faced by Palestinians in their areas.

Local sources reported that the settlers attacked the eastern area of Attara and threw Molotov cocktails at a house, causing significant material damage. They also wrote racist slogans on the walls, reflecting the escalation of tension and violence in the area.

Firefighting vehicles rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames that had ignited in the vehicles, but the damage had already occurred. This attack adds to a series of assaults carried out by settlers in the area, targeting Palestinians and their properties.

In a related context, the occupation army stormed the area to provide protection for the settlers, raising questions about the role of the occupation in protecting the aggressors instead of safeguarding Palestinian civilians.

Last Thursday, settlers re-erected colonial tents on the lands of Mount "Khirbat Tarafin" near the entrance of the town of Attara, after the occupation army had demolished them four times previously. This mountain is considered an archaeological area, with an estimated area of about 2000 dunams.

The ongoing assaults by settlers reflect the occupation's policy of seizing Palestinian lands, increasing the suffering of Palestinians and exacerbating the state of tension in the region.
