France hopes that the European Union will impose sanctions on the colonists

French Foreign Minister Stephane Ségornet said that he hopes that the European Union will impose sanctions on the colonialists who commit acts of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.

This came in a brief press statement by the French Foreign Minister, prior to the meeting of European Union foreign ministers in Brussels on Monday.
