Today, Tuesday, the ambassadors of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned war crimes, ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression for the 32nd day in a row.

The ambassadors agreed following the emergency meeting held at the headquarters of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the Belgian capital, Brussels, headed by the Ambassador of Mauritania, Mohamed Al-Khalil, head of the current session, and the Ambassador of Islamic Cooperation to Brussels, Jihan Esmat, in addition to a representative of the African Union to the European Union, to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip, on the need to hold periodic meetings of member states.

It was also agreed on the necessity of joint and individual action by ambassadors in the media, to refute the false Israeli narrative, and to develop an action plan headed by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg, and the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador Abdul Rahim Al-Farra, to coordinate and organize the joint action of member states, ensuring the formation of a pressure front. Additionally, conveying one common voice to all European and international institutions that the issue of Palestine is the pivotal issue, and it remains and will remain the pivotal issue until the occupation of Palestine is removed.

Ambassador Al-Farra briefed the audience on the massacres committed by the occupation army against civilians in the Gaza Strip, including the killing of children and women, the bombing of schools, universities and hospitals, and starvation, among the crimes of genocide and systematic war crimes against our people.

He called for the necessity of joint and immediate collective action by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in order to stop the Israeli war against our Palestinian people.
