Israeli security services suspect the participation of “foreigners” in the October 7 attack

The occupation security services suspect "the participation of foreigners from outside the Gaza Strip" in the October 7 attack on Israeli military sites and towns. The Broadcasting Corporation claims the arrest of people who speak Arabic with a North African dialect, who participated in the attack.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority (“Kan 11”) reported this evening, Sunday, that the Israeli security services began examining suspicions of the possible participation of “foreign citizens from outside the Gaza Strip” in the Al-Qassam Brigades’ attack on military sites on October 7th last year. and Israeli towns around the besieged Gaza Strip.

The channel quoted a source it described as “informed” that during the investigations conducted by the Israeli security services with detainees who participated in the October 7 attack, “there were people who did not speak Arabic in the Gaza dialect, but rather in the dialects of North African countries,” in reference to Arab Maghreb countries.

The report stated that “contrary to rumors that spread in the early days of the war, there was no evidence of any Persian-speaking saboteurs or direct Iranian involvement” in the “Al-Aqsa Flood” attack, while noting that “this issue is still under investigation.” This hypothesis has not been completely ruled out.”

In a related context, Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Sunday evening that the war on Gaza “will continue for a long time.” He added, “We are currently focusing our operations in the northern Gaza Strip, which is an operation to defeat Hamas, and it will take a long time.” He added, "We are maneuvering our plans to suit the objectives, but as I said, we are focusing on the north and we will strike Hamas leaders wherever they are."

He continued: “We want to liberate Gaza from Hamas,” he claimed. Hagari accused the Palestinian Hamas movement of "using 3 hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip as shelters and infrastructure," which the movement denied in a statement published on the Telegram platform.

Hamas said, in a post on Telegram, that “what the occupation army spokesman said in his press conference were mere lies, media fabrications, and blatant fabrications.”

Hagari devoted the press conference to revealing aerial photographs, which he claimed "prove that Hamas is using Al-Shifa Hospital, Sheikh Hamad Hospital, and the Indonesian Hospital to carry out operations."

Hagari's statements came after the escalation of Israeli bombing in recent days around a number of hospitals in Gaza, the most recent of which was the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

Hagari acknowledged that the Israeli army struck ambulances, but pointed out that its attacks were “based on intelligence information.”
