Coordination meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Amman
Today, Saturday, a coordination meeting was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, for a number of Arab foreign ministers and the Palestine Liberation Organization, in the context of their efforts aimed at stopping the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and the humanitarian catastrophe it is causing.
The meeting includes Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Al-Safadi, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the PLO, Hussein Al-Sheikh, and the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
After today's coordination meeting, the ministers are scheduled to hold a joint meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, during which they will affirm the Arab position calling for an immediate ceasefire and the immediate and urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
All repercussions and ways to end this dangerous deterioration that threatens the security of the entire region will also be discussed with Blinken.
