Jordan again denies transferring American weapons to Israel
Jordan denied on Sunday - for the second time - that it was using its military bases to transfer supplies from the US army to Israel, which is waging an aggression against Gaza that has led to the death of more than 8,000 Palestinians.
This came in a statement provided by the Jordanian army through a military source who described him as responsible.
The source said, "There is no truth to what is being published on some social media sites about the use of Royal Jordanian Air Force bases by American aircraft that supply the Israeli army with equipment and ammunition for use in bombing operations on the Gaza Strip."
He added that spreading and circulating such rumors aims to influence the firm Jordanian position towards the Palestinian issue and the reputation of the armed forces.
Destabilizing security
The Jordanian statement demanded that these rumors not be circulated "given their goals aimed at destabilizing national security and stability, and affecting the efforts made by the state to achieve a ceasefire and deliver humanitarian aid."
He pointed out that the Armed Forces Hospital is still receiving the wounded and injured in the Gaza Strip, despite all the challenges and difficulties, in addition to the operation of Royal Air Force planes to deliver humanitarian and relief aid to the Strip.
It is noteworthy that Jordan previously denied the same rumors in a military statement on October 10.
