Emir of Qatar: Israel should not be given an unconditional green light
The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, stressed today, Tuesday, that Israel should not be given an unconditional green light and unrestricted permission to kill, and it is not permissible to continue ignoring the reality of occupation, siege and settlement.
During his speech at the opening of the 52nd session of the Qatari Shura Council, the Emir of Qatar called for an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has crossed all borders, stressing the need to spare bloodshed and spare civilians from the consequences of the aggression.
He pointed out that cutting off water and preventing medicine and food cannot be allowed in our time to be used as weapons against an entire people.
He called for a serious regional and international stand against this dangerous escalation that threatens the security of the region and the world.
He stressed that war does not provide a solution of any kind, and all that will happen is an exacerbation of suffering, an increase in the number of victims, and a feeling of injustice, stressing that the only way to guarantee security and stability for the two peoples is to achieve a just peace.
