Israeli army launches an arrest campaign in the West Bank
Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces launched an arrest campaign in various areas of the West Bank.
In Qalqilya, the occupation forces arrested the freed prisoner, Ali Rafiq Shawahna, in his forties, after they raided and searched his home.
In Salfit, editor Saber Mahmoud Youssef Bouzia was arrested in the town of Kafl Haris, north of the city, after the occupation forces stormed his house and destroyed some of his possessions.
While the Israeli occupation forces arrested 11 citizens from different areas of Bethlehem Governorate, they are: Qusay Ahmed Issa (28 years old), Moatasem Omar Abu Ghalioun (21 years old), the president of the Bethlehem University Student Council Union, his brother Muhammad, and Odeh Tayeh Issa ( 51 years old), Khalil Medhat Issa and his brother Ahmed, from the town of Al-Khader, in addition to Yousef Hamza Thawabta (18 years old) from the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, after their families’ homes were raided and searched.
Also arrested in the east were Ahmed, Ismail Abdullah Al-Arouj, Salah Musa Sabah, and Khaled Attia Salahat.
In Ramallah, the following were arrested: the young man Alaa Rustom from Kafr Malik in the east, Amin Arman and his son Moatasem from Ain Yabrud in the north, and Omar Assaf from the Al-Tira neighborhood in the city, after their homes were raided and searched.
Citizen Adnan Abu Suhaib Al-Barghouthi, Tamer Khatib Al-Barghouthi, Ibrahim Mahmoud Al-Barghouthi, Saber Shalatwa, Etemad Al-Barghouthi, and Abdullah Mahmoud Al-Barghouthi, all of them from the village of Aboud, north of Ramallah, were also arrested.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young man, Ayham Hassan Dahadha, from the village of Atara, north of the city.
