Saleh Al-Arouri, deputy head of the Hamas political bureau, said on Saturday evening that the resistance has a large number of Israeli prisoners, including officers, and that it will free all prisoners in occupation prisons.

Al-Arouri indicated in an interview with Al Jazeera that his movement had information that the occupation army was preparing to launch an aggression against Gaza, stressing that it had the capabilities to confront escalation if the occupation wanted to.

He added: We are prepared to escalate to the greatest extent, and all possibilities are expected, including any ground invasion of the Gaza Strip.

He continued: We have no choice but to continue this battle, noting that there are intense communications from various parties regarding these developments, but the battle is still at its beginning.

He stressed that the plan was implemented as planned, including controlling the settlements.
