A news report accused former US President Donald Trump of divulging US nuclear secrets to a foreign millionaire who is a member of the Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida.

Sources told ABC News that Trump discussed sensitive information about US nuclear submarines with Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt.

But the latter did not remain silent, as he passed this information to dozens, including more than a dozen foreign officials and journalists, and it even went so far as to inform some of his employees of this information.

This report comes in the midst of the legal battles that Trump is waging following the successive accusations against him, including keeping secret documents after leaving the White House.

The network reported that the former US President discussed sensitive information with the Australian billionaire months after leaving the presidency.

The discussion took place at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

The American network said that the team of special investigator Jack Smith, who is supervising two separate investigations into Trump, including the investigation related to secret documents, was briefed.

This information sheds more light on how Trump handles sensitive US government secrets.

Prosecutors and FBI agents interviewed the Australian billionaire at least twice this year.

In the two interviews, the man talked about how he looked forward to having chats with Trump at the club in April 2021, and in this meeting, Trump spoke about the American nuclear submarine fleet, something the two had discussed before.
