Israeli military prevents Hebron Rehabilitation Committee renovating a house in Old City
Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces prevented the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee from starting work on renovating a house in the Old City.
According to local sources, these forces prevented work crews from renovating a house in the Al-Sahla area, and detained the work crews, including the contractor and the supervising engineer, when they attempted to open the door of the house and begin work in it.
The sources indicated that the committee tried more than once to restore this house, but the occupation forces prevented it. The house, which has an area of approximately 180 square meters, is located above shops closed by military occupation orders, in a very important location.
The sources explained that the house constitutes a strategic target for the occupation and its colonists to control that area, and it is adjacent to the house of the “Ajrawi” family, which the colonists seized more than a year ago.
