Local sources reported that the occupation closed the two checkpoints in front of Palestinian citizens from all directions, as part of the policy of collective punishment pursued by the occupation authorities against Palestinian citizens.

The two military checkpoints connect the cities of the West Bank to the northern, central, and southern Jordan Valley, and closing them hinders the movement of citizens.

The occupation also tightened its military measures at the Zaatara military checkpoint south of Nablus, and a stifling crisis occurred due to the inspection of some vehicles.
