Palestine Prisoner's Club reviews the condition of administrative detainee Ikrima Khammash

The Israeli forces arrested the young man, Ikrimah Jamal Khammash (25 years old), from Nablus, on August 24, 2023. This is his first arrest, as the occupation issued an administrative detention order against him for a period of six months. During his arrest, and according to testimony from his family, his arrest took place in a manner Brutality, as he was attacked by special units of the occupation army, which used police dogs.


The Prisoner's Club stated that the detainee, Khammash, was injured in the incidents in the Old City of Nablus, which led to the amputation of his right hand and left leg. He was in a critical health condition, as he stayed in the Arab Specialized Hospital in Nablus for seven months and underwent a series of surgical operations.


The Prisoner's Club added that, in addition to the amputation of his hand and leg, he lost all of his teeth, a large percentage of his hearing, and nerve problems. He needs intensive follow-up and health care, and he also needs special food, as he remains today in "Megiddo" prison. .


It is worth mentioning that the number of administrative detainees by the end of August 2023 reached (1264), including (20) children and (4) female prisoners.
