Israel halts exports from Gaza at key crossing, says explosives found
On Monday evening, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant decided to stop exporting goods from the Gaza Strip to Israel, including the West Bank.
The decision was taken after an assessment session held following Israeli security allegations of thwarting the smuggling of explosive materials from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank.
According to an official Israeli statement, the explosive materials, consisting of several kilograms, were detected and described as high-quality. They were smuggled through the lining of some clothes in a shipment of clothes consisting of 3 trucks.
