Several Palestinians suffered from suffocation from tear gas inhalation during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Tura al Gharbiya, west of Jenin.

Local sources stated that the confrontations erupted after Israeli troops stormed the village, adjacent to the apartheid wall. Several Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation, and many had their vehicles stopped and searched.

The people of Tura al Gharbiya are subjected to almost daily-incursions by the Israeli occupation forces, restrictions on freedom of movement from spontaneous checkpoints, and other provocations.
