Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Monday evening that his forces are capable of repeating the attack they carried out in Gaza against Islamic Jihad leaders in other arenas.

Gallant said at a security conference at Reichsmann University that his forces managed to surprise the Islamic Jihad movement during the recent operation.

In a related context, Galant accused Iran of smuggling weapons to the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and trying to establish agents at the northern and southern borders, among others, to attack Israel.

He also accused it of expanding its influence in the Mediterranean and elsewhere, and using civilian ships that it turns into military ones in order to attack Israel.
