The President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, arrived today, Thursday, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the 32nd Arab Summit, which begins tomorrow, Friday.

He was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Mayor of Jeddah Governorate Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Farid Abdul Rahman Al-Khazim, and Director of Police. Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region Major General Saleh Al-Jabri, Undersecretary of Royal Protocols Fahd Al-Sahil, and a number of senior officials and staff of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
