Hanegbi: Hamas is playing a double game, and we will maintain our deterrence against it
On Friday evening, the head of the so-called Israeli National Security Council, Tzachi Hanegbi, accused the "Hamas" movement of "playing a double and complex game" and allowing Islamic Jihad to "vent out the frustration" felt by the two movements, by firing rockets.
Hanegbi claimed, in an interview with Hebrew Channel 13, that the Israeli army forces maintained deterrence and carried out a strong attack against Hamas during the last round two days ago.
In response to a question asked about what was revealed by the same channel yesterday about talks taking place for the possibility of developing the "Marine" gas party located 30 kilometers from Gaza, Hanegbi said: "No infrastructure projects will be allowed to be implemented, and there are many proposed projects that will not be implemented." It is allowed to be implemented without the return of Aron Shaul and Hadar Goldin."
He touched on the visit of US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan to Saudi Arabia, expressing his hope that there will be a near breakthrough in the file of normalization with the Kingdom, given that this is a goal of Israel.
