Abu Bakr to "Al-Quds": Continuous efforts to recover the body of the martyr Khader Adnan
The head of the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners Affairs, Qadri Abu Bakr, confirmed that there are continuous legal efforts after the death of the prisoner, Khader Adnan, in order to recover his body.
Abu Bakr told Al-Quds.com that the commission and his lawyer submitted requests to retrieve the body of the martyr Khader Adnan, but so far the request has not been answered, and the legal period for the response extends up to forty days, and after that, in the event that the response is not received, a request will be submitted to the Israeli Supreme Court. .
Abu Bakr indicated that the possibility of handing over the body of the martyr Khader Adnan is great, especially since his case is not great.
Abu Bakr denied that the occupation authorities had transferred the body of the martyr Khader Adnan to the Institute of Forensic Medicine "Abu Kabir", as his family confirmed that, that he had not been transferred for autopsy.
The prisoner, Khader Adnan, 44, from the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, was martyred at dawn yesterday, Tuesday, after a hunger strike that lasted 86 days, in light of medical negligence and lack of response to his demands.
Over the course of 19 years, Khader Adnan launched six strikes, all against administrative detention, with the exception of his last strike, which he waged from the moment of his arrest, and was turned into a case, and an indictment was filed against him.
