His family, especially his daughter, who was preparing for her wedding before his last abduction from his home in the town of Arraba.


His wife, Umm Khaled, told Al-Quds.com that the intelligence rejected the court’s decision to release him on bail, and decided to grant him administrative detention as part of its continuous targeting of him, despite his suffering from several chronic diseases, thus joining his captive sister, Mona Qa’dan, who has been detained since April of last year. And sentenced to imprisonment for 18 months.


She mentioned that the occupation forces stormed her home in the town of Arraba, southwest of Jenin, at dawn on the 30th of last June, and after searching and arresting him, after about two weeks without an indictment being filed against him, the intelligence services transferred him to administrative detention for a period of four months, despite a previous court decision to release him on bail.


Qadan faces administrative detention again in the Israeli occupation prisons. He is a former prisoner who has been arrested 18 times since 1989, 14 of which were administrative detentions.


The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that what the detainee Qa’dan is exposed to is a continuous process of revenge against him, as he spent 12 years in the occupation prisons, most of which were under administrative detention, and he is one of the detainees targeted by the occupation through this crime, by arresting him under the pretext of having a “secret file.” .


During these years, he carried out several strikes, including individual and group strikes, the latest of which was in 2019, when he carried out a strike that lasted for 89 days, and he was released in February 2020.


And his wife adds: "He went on several hunger strikes in the occupation prisons, and went on strike for 96 days in 2013, during which he forced the occupation authorities to release him, in addition to a number of strikes in solidarity with the striking prisoners individually, the most important of which was with Sheikh Khader Adnan, and the freed prisoner Hana Shalabi." In the year 2012, a strike called for the support of the prisoner, Nahar Al-Saadi, to get out of isolation, in addition to dozens of strikes with the prisoner movement during his long detention period.


She continues, "My husband suffers from deteriorating health conditions, and he was scheduled to undergo a colonoscopy and catheterization before his last arrest. He also suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes."


Qadan, who comes from a struggling family, and most of his brothers have been arrested many times, is married and the father of six children, including one who suffers from muscular dystrophy, and one of his daughters is waiting for her wedding soon, and his wife said: "For years, our family has not been reunited, from time to time. There must be a detainee and a target from our family who pays the price for the injustice and targeting of the occupation.. The majority of Tariq’s arrests are administrative and he has not been charged, so how long will this injustice continue?


She called on all institutions to take action to stop this crime and to release her falsely, arbitrarily and unjustly detained husband. As I described. She added, "My daughter wishes to be married in the presence of her father."


Behind bars, the sister Mona has been languishing since her last arrest, on the fourth of December 2021, from home, and she was transferred to the Al-Jalama investigation, in which she was held for a month, after which she was transferred to the Damon prisons, and she went to the military courts several times until a verdict was issued against her, while she suffers She suffers from several chronic diseases, including pressure, diabetes, and rheumatism in the feet. She underwent previous surgeries and needed medical follow-up and complete rest.
