Hebron - "Jerusalem" dot com - In the context of its efforts to raise awareness of banking services in general and Islamic banking in particular, the Palestine Islamic Bank organized an awareness-raising seminar on Islamic financing formulas and banking services in cooperation with the College of Islamic Sciences in Al-Dhahiriya.

The symposium was opened in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Khaled Saraneh, the President of the South Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Khaled Jabareen, and the Director of the Chamber, Mr. Majed Abu Sharkh, while a member of the Sharia Supervisory Board, Dr. Ayman Goelis, the Director of the South Region, Nizar Bali, and a number of directors of departments and branches, as well as many legal persons, merchants, and the academic staff of the college and students.

Dr. welcomed Sarana attended the audience, stressing the importance of raising awareness of Islamic banking, services and products provided by Islamic banks, and the need to strengthen cooperation between these financial institutions and the local community, especially educational institutions.

A member of the Sharia Supervisory Board, Dr. Ayman Goelis gave an explanation to the audience about the role played by the Board to ensure that the Bank's business, services and activities comply with the provisions of Islamic Sharia, in addition to the references it adopts worldwide in the field of Islamic banking.

Commenting on the symposium, the General Manager of Palestine Islamic Bank, Dr. Imad Al-Saadi It comes within the framework of the bank's efforts to raise awareness of Islamic banking among the various segments of society and to introduce the products and services that the bank provides to the public, expressing his thanks to the Islamic Call College for hosting and caring in this aspect.

Al-Saadi indicated that these awareness efforts come in parallel with the bank's innovation and launch of many Islamic banking products and services that meet the needs of different segments of society.

During the seminar, the Bank's representatives answered the attendees' various questions. Ibrahim Salman, Director of the Marketing and Public Relations Department, gave a presentation on the Bank's electronic services, World Mastercard and Platinum Mastercard cards that comply with Islamic Sharia, and the services and privileges it provides to customers, in addition to reviewing the Bank's other prominent products and services.

The Director of the Sharia Auditing Department, Dr. Bassem Badr gave a presentation to the audience about Islamic financing formulas, indicating that the bank is always working on launching new products based on non-traditional Islamic financing formulas that keep pace with the requirements of the times.

The Palestine Islamic Bank organizes awareness meetings and seminars periodically, as part of its efforts to raise awareness of Islamic banking services and banking services in general.
