TEHRAN, May 22 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and five others injured in a mine explosion in central Iran's Semnan province on Sunday, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.
Muhammad Ali Taheri, head of the Medical Accident and Emergency Management Center at Samnan University of Medical Sciences, told (IRNA) that the accident occurred in a fluorine mine in the village of Tui in the city of Damghan.
Taheri added that an investigation is underway to find out the cause of the accident, without providing further information.
