SHENZHEN -- (Xinhua) -- Chinese tech giant Huawei reported revenue of 301.6 billion yuan (about 44.7 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of 2022, with a net profit margin of 5 percent, according to the company's semi-annual report issued last Friday.

For the company's three major businesses, the carrier business revenue was 142.7 billion yuan, the corporate business revenue was 54.7 billion yuan, and the hardware business revenue was 101.3 billion yuan, the company added in its report.

"While our hardware business has been significantly impacted, our ICT infrastructure business has maintained steady growth," said Ken Ho, rotating chairman of the company. He added, “Going forward, we will harness trends in digitization and decarbonization to maintain value creation for our customers and partners, and to secure quality development.”
