Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Minister of National Economy , Khaled Osaily, discussed with the new Egyptian Ambassador to the State of Palestine, Ihab Suleiman, mechanisms to enhance economic and trade relations between the two countries.

During the meeting that took place at the Ministry's headquarters today, Thursday, the two sides affirmed the depth of the strong fraternal relations and the true partnership that brings the two countries together, stressing the need to overcome all obstacles that hinder the work of the Palestinian and Egyptian private sectors, in a way that benefits the economies of the two countries.

Osaily briefed his guest on the efforts led by the Ministry to develop and improve the business environment, and reform the legislative environment that regulates the national economy, such as approving the new corporate law that allows electronic registration and encourages foreign companies to invest in Palestine, referring to the package of laws that are currently being prepared, such as the investment law, the debt settlement law, and others.

For his part, the Egyptian ambassador expressed his willingness to work on strengthening and developing trade relations to a level that amounts to the depth of the historical relations that bring the two countries together.
