The occupation renews the administrative detention of a prisoner from Jenin
Today, Wednesday, the Israeli Ofer Court renewed the administrative detention of the prisoner, Mohsen Hassan Kamil, from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, for a period of 4 months for the fourth time.
Muntasir Samour, director of the Prisoners’ Club in Jenin, stated that the prisoner Kamil has been detained since 30/3/2022, and 12 days after his arrest, the occupation authorities issued an administrative detention decision under instructions from the intelligence, which claimed that he has a secret file, and that he “poses a threat to the security of the occupation.” ".
The Israeli occupation authorities claim that the administrative detainees have secret files that cannot be disclosed at all, as the detainee does not know the length of his sentence or the charge against him. The administrative detainee is often subject to the renewal of the detention period more than once, and it may sometimes reach a full year, which is also subject to renewal.
